11.26-Sat Eve Barbara—We had a great week here... Great people, places, tons of food. Richard Niel got us from the airport Mon. eve, took us downtown for dinner and w/in 15 min. his car was burgled—lost all my luggage and Leica. Moan. BC and Debo served a fab dinner at their "new" cabin—right on the water, w/ a full gale blowing and no electricity. Quite a party. Great place but it hasn't stopped raining. Miss you Love Kenda

Dear Barbara—Seems like years since I've talked to you or seen you. I've been "on the road" since end of October—Oregon, S. F, L. A. and Tempe. Now home in N.H. for month of Dec. Am teaching at S. F. Art Institute Jan 18-May should be fun! Have great place to live on the ocean—you MUST come visit! After that, I don't know what I'll be doing. Wish I could stay in Sun Valley, but don't know if it's smart. Have a wonderful Christmas! Love, Ellen

Dear Barbara My 5 months are just about over, I'm in Bombay now my last stop in India, then London, the East coast right before Christmas—dropped full blast into the middle of the craziness of X-mas, culture shock here I come. Asia has been amazing, not always pleasant but always fascinating. I've just about shot up all 1,000 sheets of film! I will be locked in the dark all spring processing! Even with all I've seen I still don't feel I understand—or have really experienced Asia, I've just been doing the tourist number only with a bigger box. I will be stopping thru Denver to visit my brother before returning to S. F. probably end of Jan early Feb. I'll give you a ring when I get in. Merry Christmas. Love, Linda

Dear Miz B—It's a great pleasure to have Xmas roll around once a year so I can find out what's happening to all my friends who get too busy to write. Glad you are well & it sounds like in love. Maybe I'll get to see you in Philly. Stone is mainly writing, trying to get view camera book finished and go back to making pix. I do sneak off into the darkroom on occasion though. All well & happy here. Look forward to seeing you. xxx Stone

Barbara—Hello. What are the official names of the Boulder & Metro galleries—for my resume. Judith [Golden] has signed up for the est training here—for February. I'm real excited that she has chosen to do it. I was voted to the Board of Directors for the L. A. Center for Photographic Studies—A chore or an honor—I don't know, but nonetheless I'm pleased. Barbara—Happy New Year! I sent the slides 'n stuff yesterday. Sent 7 from the portrait series (beach hat)—I haven't taken slides lately of my newer vinyl pieces—with stuff added. Actually, maybe I should include a couple. What do you think? I'll be taking slides next week, ya, maybe we should both include some—whatever is best to blow his mind, rite? So why don't you hold those & I'll mail you a few more. Love Jude P.S. What about the 3M pieces? They actually start as [illegible] photos—that aspect is necessary. Sometimes it's hard for me to judge my own work in terms of strength. SIGN the litho you hand color

June 18—Barbara—Started a Cecil B. DeMille super colossal "CONGRATULATIONS" piece—per usual it's going slowly—after all, an extravaganza!!! takes time! So—meanwhile—I'm SO PLEASED w. your job—might as well be me—I feel so happy about women landing jobs!! Sounds SO GOOD! The changes ARE SCARY. Everything leads to something tho. Try—don't push the river—again. Denver is only 1,000 mi. from Davis—for sure—we'll work something out! You'll love the West! It's catching. I'm not going to Chgo—maybe we can meet in Colo?? Love ya—Jude

Dear Barbara—Thanks for your card. I still have my cold, a real pain, but I really didn't mean for you to have car trouble. I get mine, too: shortly after I took a picture window view of Mt. Rushmore my car was side-swiped by a senior citizen tourist—fortunately nothing serious. It was good seeing you at Sun Valley and I hope we'll meet again soon. Warm regards, John
