Dear Bon—God, I miss you! AT&T is going VERY slowly—it is totally overwhelming! Still having lots of fun in the Big Apple, but can't wait to get out West! Will it ever happen? Roger [Mertin] is lonely also—told him to look you up! Love xoo—Ellen Saw Joan Redmond twice—she is fine—asked how you were.

No way to get out of the $ for photo conference—maybe you could come up Fri. night or Sat? Sleeping place will be very tight. Dear Bon—The best thing about NOT travelling with you is sending you cards! Of course I'm having a fantastic time—god—I almost want to go back to school! Hear that Victor [Schraeger] is out of town—LEAVE your stuff for him to see. Love, Ellen

Bon—Flew to Rochester on a whim and borrowed money to spend turkey day with Joe [from Breckenridge, now at V.S.W.] We had Thanksgiving dinner at "Pat & Sandy's" Diner! [Jay's was CLOSED!] Spent 2 days with my family, back here looking at pictures, bumping into all kinds of old faces. Will fill you in. Of course it is cold, damp & gray. Love Ellen.

This place is indeed one of the wierdest [sic] places I've ever been. Five days of workshops—am somewhat burned out but also energized by a great group of students. Peter [de Lory] is fine, sends his best—see you sometime LATE Sat night? Love. Ellen

Dear Bon—Wonderful to talk to you the other night! God I miss you. Still really don't have many friends in Breckenridge, but things are looking better. May get a full-time job and NEA survey grant may come through. Went dancing with David Johnson at S.P.E.! He's fine, also saw Peter de Lory, Joan Redmond, lots of old buddies—not as as much fun as other S.P.E.'s though. Love to you both, Ellen forgot to mail this

Isn't this a famous [Marshall] "Mayer" Great West site? What a town! Was rather chilly when we were there. Did I send you a card from Red Lodge? great town—back to work—Fall Quarter is in full swing and looking good—Nathan's [Lyons] here and in great/rare form! Hope to see you in Nov/Dec. Love Ellen
