Hi Bonnie, This is live from Colorado Springs. We here are all jez stumbling around in the dark. So—how's the roller-skating round town? Squeaky Fromme

Oh the joys of summer! (Actually, this one has been strange enough I might write a story about it). Shindig @ end of August (i.e.: marriage) indefinitely postponed. Long song + dance, + will probably go into it on return, Best, M

Dear Mark—Can't make a trip to Laguna because Frick and Frack left me with a bummer car—Mark's funky mini-Honda. I'm only supposed to go to the grocery store, Club 30, etc. Am being lazy—reading too many New Yorkers! Wish I could come & visit. Are you thinking abt. Joshua Tree in Oct? xo Bonnie

[from Marshall] Mark, This P. O. is in a town that a friend of ours bought. We just came up to look at it. 15 people. 2 1/2 acres. [from Bonnie] Thanks for the great postcards from Vermont. Feels good to be on the road again, huh? I can't believe the Chrysler made it to the Mississippi! xo Bonnie

Okay pimple head! I found my ugliest postcard to send to you: how come you never address ME in your correspondence? You think I'm retarded or blind? Creep. See if I EVER make you another pecan pie. I hope you get crabs in your beard! Your ex-friend, Bonnie
