Dear Bonnie, This is the postcard I was looking for. It's even done by Scott [McLeod]. I can't believe how much my life has changed. It all comes home now that you're gone. Besides pining alot I'm printing all night tonight—incredibly good stuff so far. And I made really good food today. So all is well. But I miss you alot so hurry back. Love, Marshall

Marshall—Have not talked to Scott [McLeod] lately; but personally am in the midst of some rather intense (color) shooting. Must talk to you soon, though (maybe up in Denver?). Mark

Mark, I think you done it! Reminds me of a place in S. W. Iowa. How was your trip? How is my sister? Did Scott [McLeod] ever talk to you? Bonnie [Lambert] and I are on a shakedown cruise this weekend in preparation for September. Looks like all will be comfortable. We have to talk soon. Marshall

Someday soon Eric, we will have to sit down & quaff many beers, as we participate in an activity of "catch-up" in terms of our thinking. A neutral time, place, with the lady fr. Laguna, and maybe a long drive. Sometime in the next 4, 5 months I need a long drive. By the way, you owe me some postal excitement and/or titillation..........

Mark—I hope all is going well in Colorado. Been real busy here. Talked to Jack Higbee about SPE & he said you were helping co-ordinate events. (I'm amazed that you have the time) Anyway he said to let you know that we or I am interested in taking part at the conference. I can afford the travel expenses this year. We'd also like to co-ordinate things at BC [Space] so there are no conflicts. Let me know if a lecture or something could be worked into the program. In the meantime enjoy the summer. My best to Ben [Benschneider] and Scott [McLeod]—Jerry

Mark, This is an example of my work for the book—I hope its' [sic] in one piece. Sorry we didn't get to look at you're book stuff—we actually came looking for you after the printer but nowhere to be located. I'll most likely be down for the 4th with some work—I'll probably call to verify anything. I moved—[address redacted and phone]. Just finished applying to Ferguson Grant to pay for this book—I sure home Scott [McLeod] can do a better job—200 line screen AT LEAST. We all want it nice. Molly's getting excited to come. Marshall
