Hi! Having a wonderful time in the rain of Maine. Hope L.A. was fun. etc. It is quite busy here until labor Day. Then all the tourists will go. All will be quiet. Notice the 5 fingers? AT&T

November 1, 1977 Dear Andrea & Tom, It looks like I may have gotten a real job: photographer for a curriculum development co. But, most of their contracts are with the gov't., so I have to get a security clearance. Will take 3-4 mos. In the meantime I have found a crap job selling cameras (will take it if I don't get hired at a Xerox place this week.) At the good job I would do things like photograph a guy taking apart a rifle or defusing a land mine! Could be interesting. Lots of travel: that's the good & bad part. Any job for you, Andrea? How's Wyoming? love, Bonnie

11.4.79 Dear Andrea and Tom, Any plans to attend SPE at Asilomar? We haven't decided yet, but probably will. It sort of depends if my relatives in that area are having a Thanksgiving family reunion, & if we go to Mont. for Xmas. Are you busy again? We are: taking classes, doing art, making a few new friends. Write xo Bonnie

Howdy—Terry [?] sez you're giving him a show—real good idea. He just gave me some Lake Superior salt water taffy. It was awful. God rest ye merry Dave

Jan 25 Andrea—Linda Simpson (at Keystone) felt sorry that you & Tom [Breeden] never arranged a "trade" for the lecture—dinner, lift ticket, etc. Why don't you take her up on it when you come for the workshop?? Let her know (or me) so she can arrange something. She enjoyed the presentation... Thanks, Kenda

Dear Tom & Andrea, Come right ahead! You didn't even have to refresh a soggy memory. If you come in on 490 get off at Goodman St. and turn left. Or simpler call me at [phone redacted]. I live at [address redacted]. See you Sunday. Tina

Dear Bonnie—Well, had a good time with Andrea [Jennison] & Tom [Breeden], as you must've heard—how's teaching? Lots of fun, huh. My cold will no doubt peak tomorrow during my 3 hr class. It's raining. My car runs like shit. But enough of this—saw, right in NYC, Peter-uh-block-uh-you know-Aspen [de Lory], anyway, he's taking over Sun Valley—& in NY he was just the same. This was at "Collecting the Photograph"—Well, a lot of drinking & visiting & Chinese food—everyone was there. Nathan [Lyons] really boring—& no one, except [Peter] Bunnell, to the point. Best quote of the day: "The invention of photography was more important than the invention of chloroform." Mrs. Carlyle. OK, I give up—Which print do you have coming? Thought I done wrote it down. Hi, Ellen [Manchester]. Love, Dave P.S. You found that roll of drawings of my table?
