Someday soon Eric, we will have to sit down & quaff many beers, as we participate in an activity of "catch-up" in terms of our thinking. A neutral time, place, with the lady fr. Laguna, and maybe a long drive. Sometime in the next 4, 5 months I need a long drive. By the way, you owe me some postal excitement and/or titillation..........

Dear Bonnie: CONGRATULATIONS on your post card debut. Looks pretty good to me. Yeah, Susan Mogul (named after the skiing obstacle?) was very pleasant in conveying your greetings. I have about 3 weeks to go on my very last paper. Then I sit down for a four month grind in preparation for a 1 1/2 hour oral exam. (Mind-blower.) After that I'm certified as qualified to attempt, possibly, to write a dissertation. Did you know that [Robert] Sobieszek is now a co-student of mine? Behind me in the program, even. Did I tell you now, I'm, alas, once again a bachelor? But my work is going better than in years. Love, Pete. [P.S. John Sz. [Szarkowski] admired your wrapped finder photo on my wall!] (a beauty of a show)

Bonnie & Marshall, Didn't write sooner as I had no address for you. Finally called information. Met Tod [Papageorge] and [Peter Galassi] Gallasie [sic] at a LIGHT opening. Emotionally exhausted from peddling my work. Look forward to seeing you. Love Susan. OR UNDRESS!

from MOGUL [address redacted] BONNIE—Thank you, thank you. My performance was very difficult to document. Your exposures are great—the color is beautiful—the black & whites look good too. My only complaint lies with my own planning—there are some staged photos without audience that I would have liked to set up. There was a specific tableau I wanted that is impossible with audience present. PUBLIC ART SURE HAS IT'S [sic] PROBLEMS. Warmly Susan
