Coney Island—Highway 285 between Golden and Fairplay. Mark, "I believe that you people, among other things, are obsessed with recovering a lost model of existence, a total life-style in which there are no boundaries between object and subject, between natural and super-natural, between waking and dreaming. Mark, Missed you on Saturday—it was a good one. If you get a call soon from a one David Johnson about a show in Virginia, we recommended you. We're sending our joint stuff which we're busy getting ready. Did you hear from Ben [Benschneider]? Do you think it would do any good to call him again and twist his arm? Marshall

Dear Bon—Wonderful to talk to you the other night! God I miss you. Still really don't have many friends in Breckenridge, but things are looking better. May get a full-time job and NEA survey grant may come through. Went dancing with David Johnson at S.P.E.! He's fine, also saw Peter de Lory, Joan Redmond, lots of old buddies—not as as much fun as other S.P.E.'s though. Love to you both, Ellen forgot to mail this

Nov. 18, 1976 Dear Ellen—thanks again for the "party." I'm really glad I made it—with much help—up there. Do you think that woman still wants to buy a print? I hope so, cause Marshall bought 2 of David's [Johnson] from his thesis show. Guess he did some very nice things. It is 70º today—I can't believe it! Video 4:00 Wed 11.24 FA. 116, if you can make it. love to you, BGL
